The Arts and Cultural Resources Department (ACRD) promotes and supports Lafayette's varied arts, cultural, and historic resources in order to develop a strong sense of community, preserve our heritage, and further economic development. 

We actively coordinate, promote, and act as a resource for the local arts scene. Our work is directed by ACRD's Values, Purpose, and Mission, 2024-2029 Strategic Plan (PDF), Cultural Equity Statement (PDF), the City’s Comprehensive and Downtown Vision Plans, as well as collaborations with Lafayette's many arts and cultural organizations.
