Summer wildflowers are in full bloom - fireworks in white, purple and yellow! And every flower has an amazing pollination story. Join community naturalist Dave Sutherland for a leisurely hike at Greenlee Wildlife Preserve to look for pollinating insects and the diversity of prairie flowers they frequent. Bring field guides, magnifying glasses, and close-focusing binoculars if you have them

Dave Sutherland is an award-winning naturalist, retired from Boulder's Open Space department. Besides 30 years in the Boulder area, Dave has led outdoor programs in California, Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands. Dave is a self-professed science geek who uses games and activities to inspire others with his love of nature. He has been training for his job since the age of 4, when he began collecting rocks and butterflies and drawing his own bird books with crayons. www.DaveSutherland.CO
