Education Program

Missing the green of summer? Let's take some time to say hi to our dormant plant friends, and learn about who's growing under the snow! Some plants are still identifiable, even without leaves. Let's learn who! Please bring layers, good shoes, and your favorite warm beverage to stay cozy on a chilly winter morning! This walk will be wheelchair accessible as long as the trail isn't covered in snow, and all ages are welcome. Please reach out with any questions or accessibility needs!

Minimum Participants: 3
Maximum Participants: 25

Basil is a lover of nature, of learning, and of making people feel welcome in nature. From invasive species to local queer history, they specialize in stories that don't often get told in nature programming. Basil is proud to be working with the City of Lafayette through his business, Growth Point, to provide high quality information and accessible programming for the community, because open space is for everyone.
