Education Program
Have you ever wanted to snack on a dandelion blossom? Or learn what greens growing in your own backyard you could use to spice up your salads? Come on an invasive species plant walk and learn who’s who of the invasive world, their stories, and how you can support natural habitats through some mindful munching. Please bring good shoes, water, and your curiosity! If you have a hand trowel and paper or fabric bag you don’t mind getting dirty, that would be helpful too! Please note that collecting off of Lafayette Open Space is usually prohibited and this is a unique opportunity.
